She won the contest by beating all competitors. A result of this victory, Miss Georgia 1985 was qualified to participate for the pageant. Additionally, on the weekend of June 22, 1985 she was the winner of the competition. Mohr later went on September of 1985 to be a part of Georgia in Miss America 1986, a pageant which was staged in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mohr was, however the top 10 finalist for the national title.
