Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut playing Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11 which made her the second youngest winner of the award in Oscar history. Paquin played the lead role in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 and was also in a smaller role in the film as Jane Eyre at the time she was just a young child. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. She also played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She portrayed teenagers as teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa In Almost Famous (2000).
