Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but was born and bred in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world in The Piano. At age 11 she was one of the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who, when she was a young girl was awarded her first Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding support actress. She was the fiery daughter of Holly Hunter's character in The Piano. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. The actress also played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). The actress played teens as teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) as well as portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
