Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and entrepreneur for more than twenty years. She's the co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is an writer, philanthropist and television host and the owner of The Huffington Post. She moved to Greece to England at the age of 16 and received an MA at Cambridge University in Economics. In her 21st year, she was president of the renowned debate society The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign born student who was elected to this position. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post in 2011 and appointed her as president of the media group, which also included the other AOL products like Engadget AOL Music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli was born to Konstantinos Stasinopoulos and Elli, who are both journalists and consultants in management. The way she lived her life was determined through her relationship with her mother as well as her relationship with her father even though she was very close to him. At an early age, she showed leadership abilities which are still widely admired. She moved to England at 16, to pursue her education and was enrolled into Girton College Cambridge. In her time at college, she joined the college debating Society Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign president and was also the third female president. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. Following her graduation, she worked as a journalist and TV host. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own novels with his aid.
